Dear Airport Manager
My 9 month old baby and I flew from Lanseria to Cape Town on Saturday, the 10th of September. I made use of the Baby Room prior to the flight. The room was in a state of total disarray and it would appear that the facilities staff are using this room as their personal locker.
The tiny changing table was being used as a cell-phone charging station, there were many items of clothing and handbags on the table, beneath the table and on the chair. The chair was filled with empty bottles. As my son is breastfed I wanted to use the chair to nurse him but this was impossible.
I am not sure if you have travelled with a baby on your own before and therefore appreciate the facilities required to do this in relative comfort. The following would be greatly appreciated;
· A changing table that has a plastic covered changing mat
· A feeding-chair
· A toilet for the parent to use in the room (I cannot go to the toilet and leave my baby in a pram outside the door)
· The room should be able to accommodate the pram as well
· A waste-bin for dirty nappies
· The room should be regularly cleaned
As Lanseria is now greatly expanded, I am sure that there will be many more parents with babies travelling from the airport. Please can you make every effort to accommodate us.

Anyone had similar experiences?
Which places have the best baby facilities?
Canal Walk has a lovely baby-room and a family bath-room where you can go to the loo wiht the pram in the room.
